Megatroid Live (Nintendo Wii Remote, MPC , MS2000, Djembe

A few weeks ago a played a track called "Bassdance" by a man named Megatroid. I just got sent this video of him doing his thing live in a really interesting way, using a Nintendo wii remote to control some of the functions of his synths.

Mos Def - Casa Bey

The tittle track off Mos Def's new one.

It's not as out there as some of the amazing tracks on his widely critized but incredably awesome "The New Danger", this still has some of that uniqueness about it.

I personally am not feeling the first minute of the track, but then I start to really get into it and now I love it.

Sufjan Steven's mash up album.

Includes mash ups with Aesop Rock, Brother Ali, Pete Rock plus a host of others.

Awesome stuff, especially if (like me) you're also a Sufjan fan.

Mr Lif - The Sun

The album is supposedly a very contempary look at the modern macro-economic and social issues such as the GFC, Global warming etc.

I'll review it as soon as I get it which should be in the next couple of days.
